Erklärung zur Turniersaison 2020 des DQHA Sportausschusses (Deutsch/Englisch)

Die DQHA ist nach wie vor bemüht eine Einigung mit der AQHA zu erziehlen, um in Zukunft AQHA/DQHA Turniere auch wieder durch die Regionalgruppen anbieten zu können. Sollte dies nicht kurzfristig möglich sein, hat sich der Sportausschuß einen Plan B überlegt, um zumindest eine Planungssicherheit für alle zu bieten.

Mit der Suspendierung der DQHA als AQHA Affiliate und dem in dieser Woche bekannt gewordenen Ausschluss des DQHA Vorstandes aus der AQHA ist auch im Bereich des American Quarter Horse-Sport eine neue Situation entstanden. Vielen stellt sich die Frage:

Wie wirkt sich das Verhältnis zwischen AQHA und DQHA auf die Turnierszene aus?

Um diese Frage zu klären, eine kurze „Vorgeschichte“:

Am 19. Februar 2020 wurde an das AQHA Show Department und das International Department eine Anfrage geschickt mit folgenden Fragen:

• Wie jetzt die gewünschte Vorgehensweise bei bereits beantragten und genehmigten AQHA Shows durch die DQHA Regionalgruppen ist.
• Wie die gewünschte Vorgehensweise bei Turnieren, in die Eva Gebhard und Michaela Kayser als Show Office oder Show Manager involviert sind, ist.
• Welche Vorgehensweise sollen diese beiden den Veranstaltern/Show Secretaries an die Hand geben für die Zukunft und Organisation der AQHA Turniere (Eva Gebhard und Michaela Kayser haben im Laufe der letzten 5 Jahre rd. 60 Show Manager/Show Secretaries im Auftrag der AQHA aus- und weitergebildet und betreuen viele seitdem vor, während und nach den Shows)
  
  

AQHA Antwort am 19.2.2020: Wir werden Anfang nächster Woche Bescheid geben.

Eine erneute Anfrage mit Bitte um Klärung des Sachverhalts wurde am Montag 24.02.2020 an die AQHA gesendet.

AQHA Antwort am Montag: Am Dienstag (25.02.2020) wird eine offizielle Antwort vorliegen.

Am Dienstag 25.2.2020 Mitternacht: Die AQHA beendet mit sofortiger Wirkung die Mitgliedschaft von Michaela Kayser, Eva Gebhard, sowie drei weiteren Vorstandsmitgliedern.

Mittwochmorgen 1.13 h: Erneut stellt die DQHA die Anfrage, ob man eine Antwort bezüglich der Sport/Turniersituation in Deutschland geben könnte.

Um 01.18 Uhr antwortet die AQHA, dass noch eine offizielle Antwort erfolgen wird.

Seither warten die Verantwortlichen der DQHA Bereich Sport vergeblich auf Antwort.

Der DQHA Sportausschuss geht deshalb davon aus, dass grundsätzlich nach wie vor gilt, dass jede Privatperson oder Verein (außer DQHA e.V./DQHA Regionalgruppen) ein Approval für AQHA anerkannte Turniere stellen und nach Genehmigung veranstalten darf. Die Ergebnisse werden an die AQHA geschickt und dort wie gewohnt verarbeitet und in den AQHA Show Record eingetragen. Veranstalter dieser Shows können nach wie vor ein zusätzliches DQHA Approval beantragen, um die Ergebnisse in die DQHA High Point Wertung einfließen zu lassen. Die Teilnehmer müssen AQHA Mitglied sein, um starten zu können und DQHA Mitglied, um in die DQHA High Point Wertung zu gelangen.

Die DQHA High Point Liste wird künftig aus Ergebnissen von DQHA anerkannten AQHA Turnieren und reinen DQHA Turnieren, die die entsprechenden Voraussetzungen erfüllen, errechnet.

Auf Grund der suboptimalen Verarbeitung der Ergebnisse der AQHA Turniere aus Deutschland 2019 und der damit geschuldeten Verschiebung der DQHA High Point Ehrungen für die Saison 2019 wird der DQHA Sportausschuss in der kommenden Mitgliederversammlung eine Software vorstellen, die der DQHA erlaubt, die Daten nach dem Turnier, direkt von der Meldestelle, kurzfristig zu verarbeiten und entsprechend den Mitgliedern zur Verfügung zu stellen.

Analog zu anderen Verbänden/Affiliates in den USA, die ihre High Points selbst mit einer eigenen Software errechnen, wird die DQHA ebenfalls einen eigenen Punkteschlüssel definieren, der mehr Teilnehmern einen Anreiz zum Turnierstart bietet, um Punkte für die DQHA High Point Liste zu sammeln. Insbesondere kleinere Turniere profitieren von der Möglichkeit, mehr Attraktivität zu gewinnen und die Ergebnisse in die Wertung der DQHA High Point Liste einfließen zu lassen.

Was wird aus der Q20?

Die „Q“ bleibt unverändert die DQHA Hauptshow mit ihrer großartigen Futurity/Maturity und der SSA. Davor werden nach wie vor die DQHA Internationale Deutsche Meisterschaft mit Vorläufen (keine AQHA Shows, sondern reine DQHA Shows – Punkte zählen für die DQHA High Point Liste) und Finalläufen geschaltet.

Was wird aus den DQHA Regionen Futurities?

Die Regionalgruppendirektoren werden entscheiden, ob alle bisherigen 5 Regionen Futurities durchgeführt werden und in welchem Rahmen. Die DQHA Regionalgruppen können keine vorgeschalteten AQHA Show beantragen. Sie können allerdings DQHA Shows und damit auch ihre DQHA Landesmeisterschaften austragen und die Champions gebührend ehren.

Der Grundgedanke dahinter ist, dass die vorgeschalteten DQHA Turniere einem AQHA Turnierformat entsprechen, sodass, sollte sich ein Weg finden, diese sich wieder ohne große Schwierigkeiten in ein AQHA/DQHA anerkanntes Turnier wandeln lassen könnten. Dies würde den Regionalgruppen eine Planungsgrundlage für diese Saison geben.

How does the relationship between AQHA and DQHA affect the horse show industry in Germany?

The DQHA is still working on a solution with AQHA, to offer in the future AQHA/DQHA shows run by their DQHA affiliates again. If that is not possible in the near future, the show committee made plan B, to offer at least planning security option for the DQHA affiliates.

On february 19th, 2020 an email was send to AQHA show department and international department addressing the following questions:

• What is the procedure for the already applied and approved AQHA shows organized by DQHA regional groups now?
• What is the planned procedure for AQHA horse shows where Eva Gebhard and Micky Kayser are involved as show office or show manager?
• Also, what kind of procedure shall these two explain to show managers and show secretaries for the future to organize AQHA shows (Eva and Micky have trained and educated in the past 5 years about 60 show managers/show secretaries with approval from AQHA. They still help many of them before, during and after the shows)

February 19th answer from AQHA: We will provide you with an answer by the beginning of next week.

Monday, february 24th: AQHA has been asked again for news

Monday, february 24th: AQHA answers: tomorrow (Tuesday) you will receive a clear answer

Tuesday, february 25th midnight: termination of the AQHA membership M. Kayser, Eva Gebhard as well as 3 other DQHA board members

Wednesday morning 1.13 am: again asking for an answer to the email written one week earlier.

Wednesday morning 1.18 am: answer AQHA: Yes you will receive an answer on your questions.

We are still waiting on an answer.

We assume that, principally every privat person or association (except DQHA e.V./DQHA regional groups) can still apply for an AQHA approved show and after approval, set up and run the show. The results will be sent to AQHA and proceeded as usual and be added to the show records. Organizer of these shows can apply additionally for an DQHA approval to have the results count toward the DQHA High Point List. Competitors need to be AQHA members to compete and be DQHA member to count for DQHA High Point results.

The DQHA High Point List will result in the future out of results from DQHA approved AQHA shows and DQHA only shows, which fullfil the necessary requirements.

Because of the suboptimal processing of the show results of the AQHA shows from Germany in 2019 and thereof the postponement of the DQHA High Point awards for the 2019 show season, the DQHA show committee will a new software present at the next membership meeting. This software will allow show secretaries, after finishing the show, to send their results also directly to DQHA and they can proceed and present the DQHA High Point ranking more currently to their members.

Analog to other associations/affiliates in the US, that collect the results for their high point ranking with an own software, DQHA will define an own point system. The new systems aims to icentivize participants to show their horses and to collect points for DQHA High Point. Especially smaller shows will benefit from the new system, gain more attractivity, because results will count towards DQHA High Point.

What will happen to Q20?

The „Q“ will remain the DQHA most prestigious event with the successful futurity/maturity and the stallion service auction. As usual the DQHA internationl German Championship will take place with their prelims (no AQHA show, but DQHA only shows – points will count for DQHA High Point) and finals to crown the champions.

What will happen to the DQHA regional futurities?

The leaders of the DQHA regional groups will decide, if all of the 5 regional futurities will take place and in which frame. The DQHA regional groups can not apply for an AQHA approval. But they can set up DQHA shows with futurity and maturity classes and also the finals of the regional championships and honor the regional champions accordingly.

The basic thought behind this is, that the DQHA shows match an AQHA show format, therefore, if a way will be found in the future, these shows can easily be changed back in an AQHA/DQHA approved show again.
