Nachgefragt: Warum ist der Zuchtbucheintrag für den Futurity-Start notwendig?

Nach Beschlussfassung vom 3. Februar 2019 ist für dreijährige und ältere Pferde die Futurity-Teilnahme nur mit DQHA Zuchtbucheintrag möglich.

Voraussetzungen für den DQHA Zuchtbucheintrag und die damit zusammenhängende Futurity Startberechtigung sind aktuell:

• Kopie des Certificate of Registration (Vorder- und Rückseite!)
• DNA-Profil (DNA Casenumber nach jetzigem Stand nicht ausreichend!)
• Equidenpass mit EU konformer Zuchtbescheinigung
• ausgefüllter Antrag auf DQHA Zuchtbuch-Aufnahme
• Test auf genetische Krankheiten:
• Hengste: PSSM I, HYPP; HERDA; GBED; MH
• Stuten + Wallache: PSSM I, ggf. HYPP

Pferde, die bereits im DQHA Zuchtbuch geführt werden, erfüllen alle Voraussetzungen für die Futurity Startberechtigung.

Inquiry: Why is the studbook entry necessary for the Futurity start?

According to the resolution passed on February 3, 2019, Futurity participation for three-year-old and older horses is only possible with DQHA studbook entry.
Current requirements for DQHA studbook entry and associated Futurity entry eligibility are:

- Copy of the Certificate of Registration (front and back!)
- DNA-Profile (DNA Casenumber not sufficient according to the current status!)
- Equine passport with EU compliant breeding certificate
- completed application for DQHA studbook entry
- Test for genetic diseases:
       o Stallions: PSSM I, HYPP; HERDA; GBED; MH
       o mares + geldings: PSSM I, HYPP if applicable

Horses already in the DQHA studbook meet all requirements for Futurity eligibility.
