Letter from Scott Neuman (AQHA)

To the organizers and managers of the Q, thanks for having us from AQHA attend your show. The show was well organized and logistically ran very smoothly. As always, the awards were exceptional. As someone who has had to contend with facility construction, I was impressed with how well the show ran despite being in a new, alternate location. It is difficult to organize and produce a show when almost all aspects are new from the year before. Kudos to the show organizers for a job well done.

I know the show was visited by official German veterinarians and was also visited by animal rights activists. Both visits were handled professionally and resulted in no issues for the exhibitors of the event.

While I understand your days were limited, I suggest that in the future you include a full slate of Level 1 classes in youth, amateur and open. These classes bring introductory exhibitors and offer the chance to expose new participants to all that DQHA has to offer.

Finally, great job with your exhibitor party. I am a proponent of always having fun, entertaining, free parties, giveaways etc. Not everyone who attends the show, especially new participants, wins awards. For this reason, it’s crucial that all exhibitors have a chance to have a great time. Your party was excellent.

Scott Neuman
